 Dad's Mad

Dad's mad
"Enough!", he says he's had

"All night,"
He screams, "You pugs wrestle and fight!"

Upstairs
Neighbors screaming, pulling hairs

I bark
And within Skeeter, light a spark

Cacophony
Why's dad looking that way at me?

Just helping
Got to let him know with my yelping

Heavy eyes
But they're still yelling outside

One more bark
"JESSE!", dad's voice in the dark

Morning, and Dad's still here!
I like his scratches behind my ears

But, maybe I'll let him sleep
NAAAAAHHHH! I'm hungry, I gotta eat!

hey Jesse, tell dad boys will be boys... Buddy met his match this weekend....we went to my moms apartment, and the people who live up stairs from her have a huge great dane....so my stepdad took buddy outside to meet him, his name is Zeus...buddy acts all tough and stuff, but when he saw this huge dog, he hid behind my dad...too funny...Zeus wanted to play with buddy, but buddy was having none of that...this dog was one of the biggest great danes I've seen, he was beautiful...well I hope yall had a great weekend, and I hope mom and dad are feeling better now....take care kitcat and buddy....

Poor Buddy! But I gotta tell you, size doesn't bother me too much. At the apartment complex there are all sorts/sizes of dogs to meet - I'm usually the one scaring them because I'm so hyper and I want to play with them - I don't think they quite know what to make of me. Then one day Mom and Dad had me at Petsmart and there was a mastiff whose head was as big as my whole body - he was laying on the floor and I proceeded to climb up on top of his head. Luckily for me, he was very laid back and cool about it, otherwise I might have made a great breakfast snack for him! Dad takes all this stuff in stride, but Mom freaks out when I'm around larger dogs (she says it's 'cause a Husky tried to attack me when I was little and it really scared her). Anyway, I'm rambling now and have lost track of what I was trying to say.

Hi, Miss Lou!!

Thanks for stopping by! Yep, it's alot of fun to tear through the house chasing each other and wrestling! Mom and Dad think it's funny most of the time - that is, until we start tromping all over them when they are trying to sleep. Then they're not so thrilled! We're just trying to have fun!!

Hi, Dazey!!

Well, I didn't exactly give her a sloppy wet kiss...it was more like a knock on her noggin! She was stretched out on the floor getting a keyboard lesson from Dad and Skeeter and I started chasing each other around and WHAM! I ran smack dab into her head! Oops!

I did, however, proceed to lick her leg to make the boo-boo all better !!
